The largest free photography competition in the world is now open for entries: the CEWE Photo Award 2025, run by the imaging experts at CEWE, Europe's leading photo printing company.
No matter where you are on your photographic journey, from beginners to experts and phone shooters to working professionals, you’re invited to enter – and there’s over €250,000 in prizes up for grabs.

The contest welcomes photographers from across all disciplines, with 10 categories to enter under the theme “our world is beautiful”:
The main prize is a unique trip worth €10,000, a voucher for photo equipment worth €5,000 and a voucher for CEWE photo products worth €2,500. What’s more, not only can you can enter up to 100 photos to increase your chances of winning, there are 1,000 prizes available – so you can still win, even if you’re in 1,000th place!
In addition, in the UK, you can still win big. Every month, a winner will be chosen from the CEWE Photo Award entries as UK Photo of the Month – and will receive a £100 CEWE voucher.

For June, the theme is "People and Portraiture". If you have a haunting headshot, a captivating candid or a breathtaking beauty photograph, why not enter it into the CEWE Photo Award and automatically stand a chance to win the "UK Photo of the Month" award?
More than just a photography contest, though, the CEWE Photo Award 2025 is a vehicle to connect photographers from all over the world, showcasing their best work while also celebrating the beauty of our world.

The competition also has a charitable component. For every photograph submitted, CEWE donates €0.10 to SOS Children’s Villages International – a global independent charity that works to improve the lives of disadvantaged children.
