There has been a lot of hype around Canon’s new professional cameras, the flagship EOS R1 and 8K powerhouse EOS R5 Mark II. Now Canon is giving you the chance to try out these pro cameras and talk to the pro shooters who use them, during Camera Store Week – taking place from September 16 to 22 at your local camera shop.
There will be a flurry of events taking place during this action-packed week, including touch-and-try opportunities with EOS R cameras and lenses, workshops and seminars from Canon experts and professional photographers, exclusive promotions only available during Camera Store Week, and an incredible competition to win a camera and accessory bundle.
And it’s all coming to a camera shop near you, enabling you to shop local and support businesses in your area, while getting incredible hands-on sessions and one-to-one time with Canon specialists – along special offers from collaborating brands such as Rode, Manfrotto, Lowepro and Delkin.
What is Camera Store Week?
Canon started Camera Store Week in 2021, to unify individual retailer events into a single weeklong celebration of photo, video and printing – all taking place at the local level.
By bringing the best products, experts and partners to specialist camera shops around the country, Canon is able to bolster their unique expertise with in-person test drives, personalised advice on everything from lenses to printing, and exclusive promotional offers – including up to £780 off the Canon EOS R6 Mark II and up to 10% off the RF mount lens lineup.
Perhaps best of all, professional Canon photographers and specialists will be appearing in-store to host seminars and workshops on Canon Expert Days and Experience Days – sharing their secrets to success, tips and techniques on how to get the most out of cameras and lenses alike, and shooting sessions where you can photograph side by side with the pros.
Canon Expert & Experience Days
If you’d like to chat to, learn from or even shoot alongside professional photographers, make sure to attend one of these exclusive days in your area. Spanning the length and breadth of the UK, from Glasgow to Southampton, this is a great opportunity to see how the pros use their kit – and ask them how you can get more out of yours.
Whether you shoot portraiture, sport, street, wildlife, macro or food photography, and no matter whether you’re an eager enthusiast or a paid professional, these days are a fantastic chance to try out new bodies, play with new lenses, and learn from photographers at the top of their fields. Some of the highlights include:
