If you head to Nikon Australia's online store, you'll find that the Z7 full-frame mirrorless flagship is not available to buy immediately – you'll need to pre-order it. However, this excellent all-rounder is available to buy at most Aussie retailers, with Ted's Cameras offering the best deal right now.
The Z7 is usually listed at a slightly lower price than Nikon's RRP of AU$4,654 on Ted's online store, but head over to the retailer's storefront now and the mirrorless marvel can be yours for just AU$3,764. That's a cool AU$890 off the manufacturer's own price tag.
The Nikon Z7 is worth every penny you invest in it – starting from a very rugged and ergonomic build to top-notch performance from its 45.7MP full-frame sensor.
And while the number of Z-mount native lenses are still few, you can always use existing F-mount lenses with an adaptor. If you're an existing Nikon DSLR user, that means you can save a pretty penny on buying new lenses.
The only downside to the Z7 is its memory card slot which, at launch, only supported the rare XQD format. However, a firmware update that was rolled out in 2019 has added support for CFexpress cards while also adding eye-tracking autofocus.
