There is literally a camera for everything, from action sports to wildlife and these Cyber Monday savings knock a big chunk off the normal price
As we say goodbye to Black Friday for another year, Cyber Monday camera deals are now live, and there are lots to choose from!
No matter what type of photography you're into, there is a camera that will be perfect for you. Whether you're an outdoor adventurer looking for a compact action cam to capture everything from downhill skis to kayaking trips or you're a photo-taking enthusiast looking to upgrade from your camera phone to a "real" camera with a bigger sensor and better features, this is a pretty varied and versatile list!
The best bit of it all is all of these cameras come in at less than £500 so they won't even make a huge dent in your pocket. Whether you're looking to buy for yourself or want to splash out on a loved one this Christmas, here are four cameras for very different things we think are worth highlighting.
Best for beginners
Canon EOS R100 + 18-55mm | was £669.99 | now £499.99
Save £170 at Amazon This is the best price we have seen to date on the new budget R-mount mirrorless camera from Canon. It may lack a touchscreen, but this is a brilliant beginner buy for anyone wanting their first interchangeable lens camera.
Canon's new budget R mount range is perfect for someone who wants to shoot mirrorless but can't quite afford the more advanced RF range just yet. For the price, it truly is a nifty little camera with a 24 megapixel CMOS sensor, 4K video and a max burst rate of 6.5fps it's an honest entry-level all rounder.
Best budget DSLR
Canon EOS 2000D + 18-55mm IS lens | was £519.99 | now £374.69
Save £145 at Amazon An ideal entry-level camera, the 2000D DSLR has a 24.1MP APS-C sensor, large 3-inch rear screen and built-in Wi-Fi. This kit includes the image-stabilized 18-55mm kit lens, which gives you a versatile focal range to cover most shooting situations.
We all thought DSLRs were dead but there are a few still clinging on such as the trusty Canon 2000D. In some ways the Canon EOS R100 is almost its mirrorless sibling, it too has a 24 megapixel sensor but it doesn't quite compete when it comes too focusing speed and burst rate. However some people prefer the grip on a DSLR and at less than £400 it's a great deal.
Best for vlogging
Sony ZV-1F | was £549 | now £449
Save £100 at Amazon Sony's latest compact camera is designed with vloggers in mind, and has a fixed super-wide 20mm lens to help get you in the picture. It shoots 4K and has a 20MP 1-inch sensor.
If you know someone who is keen to become a full-time social media influencer or a content creator, help them start their journey with the Sony ZV-1F - a fixed lens compact camera designed specifically for vlogging. It has a 20 megapixel sensor, a flip out screen and built in Wifi.
GoPro Hero10 Black | was £449.99 | now £249
Save £200 at Jessops With the GoPro Hero12 now available, this 2021 flagship model has been cut to make it a very tempting offer for adrenalie seekers and adventurers.
GoPro is the biggest name in the action camera world and for good reason too - its stabilization deliverys incredibly smooth videos, no matter what terrain you're on or what sports you're doing. They're insanely versatile thanks to the wide range of mounts available (helmet, handlebar, chest etc) and with £200 I'm even tempted to get one for myself!
