But don’t trade in your camera yet! The offer doesn’t start until March 4 and then runs up until April 30 2021

As if the price of the GFX 100s isn’t amazing enough already, this UK Fujifilm offer adds further incentive to make the switch to Fujifilm’s medium format GFX system for anyone who currently owns a full frame camera.
The £450 trade-in deal is on top of any part exchange price offered by retailers like Wex and Park Cameras. The retailer pays the trade-in price as usual, but the extra £450 trade-in bounty is claimed direct from Fujifilm.
That’s not the only GFX 100s offer. Regardless of the trade-in deal, Fujifilm UK is offering a free NP-W235 battery to anyone who buys a GFX 100s between January 27 and April 30 2021 and a free BC-W235 Dual Battery charger, again to be claimed directly from Fujifilm.
The £450 trade-in incentive scheme opens on March 4, when the GFX 100s officially goes on sale. Early reports suggest even Fujifilm has been surprised by the demand for this camera, and that seems likely to increase further with promotions like these, which add substantial savings to a camera that is already priced very aggressively.
As we’ve already noted, the GFX 100s costs less than the new Sony A1, and has double the resolution. Previously, medium format was always an expensive step up from full frame; now it looks as if it’s starting to compete directly.
