Capturing the beauty of the great outdoors is food for the soul, perhaps never more so than during current times.
And issue 236’s landscape special will help you to get more from your photos of scenics.
Remember that you can also buy Digital Camera online, or make great savings of up to 34% with a subscription.
Our cover feature leads the way, by busting 10 common myths of landscape photography, alongside a scenics-special Photo Answers and some incredible Landscape Photographer of the Year 2020 images that grace Hotshots.
There are more amazing photos to savour in our new issue, courtesy of the legendary Steve McCurry, guesting as this month’s Pro in Focus, while the esteemed wildlife and nature film-maker and photographer Doug Allan is in the hot seat for our main interview.
Venturing into wide open spaces may not be a priority for everyone at the moment, so we also have a great selection of inspirational projects to try indoors, spread across Photo Active and Stay at Home.
Plus, you can see what the Digital Camera community has been shooting, in this month’s Stay at Home reader gallery.

Niall is the editor of Digital Camera Magazine, and has been shooting on interchangeable lens cameras for over 20 years, and on various point-and-shoot models for years before that.
Working alongside professional photographers for many years as a jobbing journalist gave Niall the curiosity to also start working on the other side of the lens. These days his favored shooting subjects include wildlife, travel and street photography, and he also enjoys dabbling with studio still life.
On the site you will see him writing photographer profiles, asking questions for Q&As and interviews, reporting on the latest and most noteworthy photography competitions, and sharing his knowledge on website building.
