The Photography Show virtual event is just around the corner – and there's plenty of exciting talks and demos to look forward to! There will be plenty of manufacturers and exhibitors at the event, but we're particularly looking forward to what Nikon will be bringing to the table. 

The Photography Show Spring Shoots event will take place entirely online on 6 & 7 March and you can register for free. Over the weekend, Nikon School will have a range of tutorials, product demos and Q&As that you can attend.

Nikon talks: Saturday 06 March

Nikon Clinic: Cameras, lenses and speedlights

12:00 – 12:50 

Nikon experts Neil Freeman and Ricci Chera will be talking anything and everything about the latest Nikon cameras, lenses and speedlights. This audience Q&A is the perfect opportunity to ask all of your burning Nikon-related questions.

Creating professional images in your own home

13:45 – 14:25 

Food photographer Donna Crous will be discussing lighting, props and equipment with Neil Freeman in this food photography tutorial. She'll be giving us some exciting tips and insights into how to stage and capture incredible food images.

The latest Nikon cameras and lenses

15:25 – 15:55

Neil Freeman and Ricci Chera team up again to showcase the brand new Nikon Z7 II and Nikon Z6 II. Plus, they'll also be discussing the ever-expanding Z lens roadmap and how these pieces of glass can help improve your shoots.

Nikon After Hours: Ask the Pros

17:00 – 18:00 

Nikon School has invited a panel of professional photographers and creatives to answer any technical or artistic questions you might have. Join Neil Freeman, Ricci Chera, Donna Crous and Andy Parkinson for this after hours event.

Busy on the Saturday, but don't want to miss your chance to grill Neil Freeman and Ricci Chera about the latest Nikon kit? Well, Nikon is running a second clinic on the Sunday, chaired by Angela Nicholson.

Professional wildlife photographer Tom Mason will be exploring how to capture stunning images in your local area, making the most out of the critters that live right outside your own back door.

The Photography Show to explore the magic of portraits

Louise Carey

With over a decade of photographic experience, Louise arms Digital Camera World with a wealth of knowledge on photographic technique and know-how – something at which she is so adept that she's delivered workshops for the likes of ITV and Sue Ryder. Louise also brings years of experience as both a web and print journalist, having served as features editor for Practical Photography magazine and contributing photography tutorials and camera analysis to titles including Digital Camera Magazine and  Digital Photographer.
