In exciting news for drone enthusiasts, the upcoming DJI FPV drone has been unofficially unveiled in a YouTube unboxing video. This video goes into plenty of detail about this exciting upcoming drone, displaying most of the components and accessories that will come in the Combo kit.
While the video is technically unboxing a display demo, it's still a fully working unit. This means that the combo box shown in the video is exactly like the retail version, except for the not-for-sale sticker.

Unlike many conventional drones, first person view (FPV) drones are unique because they offer a more immersive experience. These kinds of drones typically come with a set of goggles that pilots can use to see what the drone is recording.
The goggles shown in the video from SpiderMonkey FPV are described as being "definitely lighter" than the previous model, with a "comfortable" padded section. It seems that DJI has worked hard to improve the design and comfort factors of the DJI FPV drone goggles.
The DJI FPV looks as though it will feature a lightweight and compact design, which will be great for transporting between locations. The video above also offers a quick demonstration on how to set up the drone, which is a little more complex than conventional drones. For instance, the goggles require a number of antennas to be connected and a headband to help secure it to the user.
At present, there's no confirmed release date for the drone, so this unboxing comes ahead of its launch date. However, the fact that this video offers so much information could put some pressure on DJI to offer some confirmation – or even potentially push the launch date forward.
