Camera manufacturers offering seasonal money-saving promotions are nothing new, but Nikon UK's latest Instant Savings deal offers a discount off the retailer's price at the point of purchase, rather than having to be redeemed as part of a 'cashback' scheme. These savings come on top of any discounts that Nikon authorised retailers might already have applied to the product.
The promotion offers instant savings on the purchase of some of the best Nikon cameras, from the entry level D3500 (£35 off) to the D850 (£180 off) DSLRs, as well as the new Z 6 (up to £270 off) and Z 7 (up to £360 off) mirrorless models.
The savings aren't just limited to camera bodies, but available on a wide range of lenses too, and not just older models: it's notable that the only-just-in-the-shops Z NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8 S sees a handsome £180 shaved off the asking price.
The promotion starts on 15 May 2019 and runs until 15 August 2019, and Nikon says that it has been introduced to improve the ease with which consumers' access promoted pricing – meaning those buying qualifying Nikon products will no longer need to redeem cashback following their purchase.
