The new Google Pixel 4a 5G and Google Pixel 5 are now available to pre-order from a variety of carriers. Customers who pre-order either device before midnight on 19 October will also be able to claim a pair of Bose headphones worth £299.95. They'll also get three months free membership for Google's Stadia Pro cloud gaming service, YouTube Premium, Google One and Google Play Pass. Despite Black Friday being a few months away, this is certainly a deal worth of it!
Launched last night, the Google Pixel 4a 5G and Google Pixel 5 have fairly similar specs, including the dual camera system, Snapdragon 765G processor, 128GB of storage and the 5G support. However, the Google Pixel 4a 5G lacks the Pixel 5's smooth display technology, water resistance and wireless charging.

The Google Pixel 5 will have a 1,080 x 2,340 LED screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz display. It'll also sport a 4,080mAh battery and will be Qi-certified for wireless charging. Even more interestingly, it'll be able to wirelessly charge the Pixel Buds when they're placed on its rear panel.
The dual-camera system for both the Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a 5G will have a new 12.2MP dual-pixel lens with optical and electronic image stabilization and a new 16MP ultra-wide lens that can capture a 107º field of view. The rear camera is capable of capturing 4K/60fps and 1080p/120fps video. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera has an 8MP sensor.

Available in Just Black and Sorta Sage, the Google Pixel 5 is available for pre-order now, priced at $699/ £599/ AU$1,079. Meanwhile, the Google Pixel 4a 5G will be available in Just Black and starts from $499 / £499 / AU$799.
