Canon USA has launched a new microsite, Shot on Canon, to showcase prominent films, TV shows and documentaries shot using Canon equipment.
Companies such as Marvel Studios, Netflix, HBO and Showtime are among the powerhouses whose productions feature on the site, all of which have been filmed using Canon's cinema cameras and/or lenses.
In addition to blockbuster Marvel movies such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3 and the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp, other notable titles include acclaimed documentaries He Named Me Malala and A Beautiful Planet, and popular TV series Workaholics and True Blood.
While these productions may slightly above the scope of most videographers filming on Canon kit, the company's big budget pedigree helps cement its status as the brand of choice for prosumer video shooters.
