Viltrox launches its 23mm f/1.4, 33mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.4 lenses for Canon and Sony's APS-C mirrorless systems

Viltrox has finally released three new fast f/1.4 prime lenses for Canon EOS M cameras – and for APS-C Sony mirrorless cameras. The trio consists of a 56mm f/1.4, 33mm f/1.4, and 23mm f/1.4 autofocus primes.
After being revealed last September at IBC 2019 and introduced to the Fujifilm X mount last year, the three Viltrox lenses add some much-needed wide-aperture primes to users of Canon's APS-C mirrorless system, and for owners of the Sony A6000 Series of cameras..
Popular cameras like the Canon EOS M50 and Sony A6000 are well served by quality zooms, but these speedy f/1.4 lenses will be very welcome to with their equivalent 35mm, 50mm and 85mm focal lengths.

The widest of the three new autofocus lenses is the 23mm – which offers an equivalent focal length of a 35mm when used on an APS-C mirrorless camera.
The lens is constructed from 11 elements in ten groups, including two ED lenses, and it benefits from an HD Nano multilayer protective coating on the front element. Weighing 260g, it measures 65x72mm, and has a minimum focus distance of 0.3m with a 52mm filter ring.
As with all three lenses, the 23mm has a metal structure, and offers a wide manual focus ring and internal focusing, along with a noiseless STM motor to power the autofocus.
