The Photography Show & The Video Show Virtual Festival is well underway, with plenty of incredible talks and demos for you to sink your teeth into. With opportunities to chat to brand representatives, amazing discounts at camera retailers and special live Q&A session with brands, we wouldn't blame you if you weren't sure where to start your The Photography Show experience!
However, make sure you don't miss out on the special charity auction that The Photography Show is running with The Disabled Photographers' Society. You'll be able to bid on a variety of stunning photographic prints kindly donated from top photographers including Faye Yerbury, Charlie Waite and Paul Hill.
Once the auction has closed, the highest bidder will be contacted and asked to make their donation to the Just Giving page within 24 hours. If the donation isn't made within this timeframe, the next highest bidder will be contacted instead. Once the transaction has been made, the print will be posted.
The Disabled Photographers' Society has been The Photography Show's official charity partner since it launched in 2014. As The Photography Show's website states: "Their annual trip to the NEC is a major fundraising effort for the team (if you've been to the show, you'll have come across the stand where you can buy awesome second-hand gear), but due to everything that's happened in 2020, they're not going to get that opportunity.
To help out, we'd really like to raise some money so we can support their continuing hard work to make photography inclusive and accessible to anyone with a disability."
