The Canon EOS R5 is the hottest camera of the year (and possibly the last decade), but it does come with a substantial £4,199 price tag. Don't expect to see price reductions any time soon but, if you're looking for the best deal, UK consumers can take advantage of a great offer on the camera.
Pre-order the Canon EOS R5 and you can claim a free EF-EOS R mount adapter worth £99 (which enables you to seamlessly use Canon EF lenses with native performance), but you'll need to be a member of Canon Professional Services, CPS.
• Hands on: Canon EOS R5 review
CPS is free to join, and gives you priority helpdesk support, with fast-track repairs and discounted maintenance for higher tiers. So it's worth signing up to for any Canon user, especially when it comes with a free EF-EOS R adapter!
As you're no doubt aware by now, the Canon EOS R5 is a monster for both video and stills, delivering uncropped 8K footage, 45MP images, 20fps burst shooting, and up to 8 stops of image stabilization.
While the original Canon EOS R kits came with an EF-EOS R mount adapter, there are no equivalent R5 bundles. However, even though the best Canon RF lenses are incredible, this adapter is invaluable as it enables you to use your existing Canon EF lenses with native performance. So getting it for free here is a brilliant bargain!
